There are three ‘markers’ that a Second Cold War has begun:
- Military Build-Up
- Escalating Geopolitical Tensions
- Economic and Technological Rivalry
While the world has changed politically and economically a great deal since the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, the military strategy of Mutually Assured Destruction with ‘peace’ being sustained through fear continues to be relied upon.
